Avocado

Avocado
3/21/2015 Plantation

Because I was so glad to find Avocado Flowers:-)

Rainbow Eucalyptus

Mindanao Gum / Rainbow Eucalyptus =  Eucalyptus deglupta
Family: Myrtaceae
Origin: Philippines

This is one of the few Eucalyptus NOT native to Australia.
It grows to well over 100 feet tall.
The bark is unusual and attractive.
Patches of outer bark are shed annually at different times,
showing a bright green inner bark. This then darkens and
matures to give blue, purple, orange and maroon tones.
