Sea Grape


Sea Grape = Coccoloba uvifera
Family: Polygonaceae
Native to coastal beaches throughout 
tropical America and the Caribbean

Fruit 3/4" green to purple in grape-like clusters, 
may eaten raw, or cooked into jam or jellies,
also fermented into wine.
Seagrape wine may also be fermented into 
sea grape vinegar and useful in cooking.
地面にたくさん実が落ちて朽ちていました。
紫になった実は生でも食べられるし
ジャムなんか作れるそうです。
発酵させてシーグレープワイン、
ワインを更に発酵させてシーグレープの酢、
と、とても役立ちそうです。
