Travelers Palm /  Travelers Tree = Ravenala madagascariensis
Family: Strelitziaceae
Origin: Madagascar

This has a palm-like trunk and banana-shaped leaves,
giving the appearance of a fan.
Water collects in the hollow base of the leaves,
providing a source of liquid for travelers.

    I have been looking for this plant in India with yellowish leaf shafts any one have a pup of this plant .I am interested to buy.I wont mind accepting a free gift as well.
